One Marshall, Wisconsin father was celebrating his birthday but he didn't realize he was in for a very big surprise. A local news station reported dad ran into the police station seeking help for his wife, who went into labor round 7:45 a.m. near the station.
Officer Kristine Quam and her sister Deanna Chadwick, who works as an administrative assistant at the police station, helped to deliver the little girl on daddy's birthday. Other officers at the station said the two "made a great team" when delivering the little girl. Delivery was fast and easy; mom and baby were transported to the hospital and are doing fine.
Congratulations to the happy couple! It's a good thing the couple was near a place where they could get help.
